SCOUT 185 Plus “Clutch” Carbon Paramotor Testing

vittorazi-moster-plus-paramotor-engine

SCOUT paramotors HQ recently began testing of a highly anticipated new engine on the carbon paramotor frame.    This new engine is from Vittorazi Engines ad we're hoping it will be a great success for the industry.

Formally called the Vittorazi Moster 185 Plus  this new engine is utilizing a clutch system and belt  drive system to keep the prop spinning in the same direction as regular Moster 185's.   Apparently the paramotor gods realized how many pilots wanted a setup like this and we are happy to say the least!

Here are some quick highlights on this new paramotor engine:

Pros-
Nearly 0 vibration at idle
Quiet operation
Clutch system for safer ground operation
Flat layout, keeps weight close to your back
Flash start system easy and trouble free

Cons-
Not as compact as standard Moster 185
Cannot be mounted to older SCOUT frames due to offset prop hub design.

As always, we are hesitant to put this new unit on sale this early on as we would like to do some testing ourselves on it.   If you have any questions, give us a shout!

I am wondering how long now has team fly halo been testing the new Vittorazi moster plus (in hWours of use) and what are some trait’s perhaps problems encountered with it. I am looking to purchase a motor with scout ether way but I am considering the new version.
